Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a false alarm at 9 a.m. Thursday at Silver Cross. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a burning railroad tie at 7:30 a.m. Thursday on East Manufacturers Boulevard.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 12:38 a.m. Thursday on Hwy. 51 near the Copiah-Lincoln county line.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 20 calls Thursday: five were transfers, with two to Jackson, one to Forrest General and two in the city. There were 15 emergency calls; 14 medical, with 11 in the city and three in the county; one trauma in the county.
