Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a trash fire at 401 Industrial Park Road on Saturday at 4:46 p.m. They also responded to a vehicle wreck on Hwy. 51 N at 5:55 p.m. in which the Jaws of Life were utilized.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported five citations Friday-Sunday: two for no insurance, two for no tag and one for shoplifting.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 550 at West Industrial Park at 12:55 p.m. Friday. Officers responded Saturday at 9:26 a.m. to a two-vehicle wreck on Hwy. 84 at East Lincoln. MHP also responded Sunday to a single-vehicle accident at 6:45 a.m. on I-55 SB at mile marker 45, and a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 84 at Jackson-Liberty Drive at 2:14 p.m. All wrecks were without injuries.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 41 calls Friday-Sunday. Eight were transfers, with two in the city and six to Jackson. There were 33 emergency calls; 21 medical, with 13 in the city and eight in the county; four traumas, with three in the city and one in the county; five MVAs, with two in the city and three in the county; and three cardiac in the county.
