Julie and David William, and Khris and Darla Bridges announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Katelyn Bridges of Gillsburg, to Colton Welch of Bogue Chitto.

He is the son of Christopher and Carolyn Welch.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dalton and Donna Williams, Bobby and Betty Cade, Eleanor Case and Patsy Bridges.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Marilyn O’Gwynn.

Miss Bridges is a 2014 graduate of Jewel M. Sumner High School and a 2018 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, with a degree in radiologic technology. She is employed as a radiologic technologist at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Welch is a 2014 graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center and a 2016 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, with a degree in business. He is employed as a service manager for Welch Pest Control.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at Jolimar in Summit.
