Parking at the county courthouse will be restricted later this week and possibly into next for a quick project to repave the east and north lots.

Beginning this morning, the east parking lot between the Lincoln County/Brookhaven Government Complex and the tax assessors building will be closed for a paving overlay. As soon as work on that lot is complete, the north parking lot between the courthouse and the senior center will be closed for a second overlay.

The west parking lot, near Dungan Engineering, will remain open. The project is expected to last a few days, depending on rain.
