Labor Day brings office closings
Several businesses and government offices will be closed Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
The Daily Leader will be closed Monday. However, a Tuesday newspaper will be published.
Waste Pro will be closed Monday, as well, and all routes will be running one day behind schedule, said Brooke Wells in the Natchez office.
Also closed for the Labor Day holiday are the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, U.S. post offices, banks and the Mississippi Highway Patrol Driver’s License examiner’s office.
The Lincoln County-Brookhaven Government Complex is also closed Monday.
Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Brookhaven Academy and all public schools will also be closed.
