Funeral services for Jauywana Nuctoria “GG” Brice Thornton, of Jackson, formerly of Brookhaven, are Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. James M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thornton, 39, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born Dec. 8, 1978, to Willie B. Brice Jr. and Beverly Ann Bates Smith.
