A memorial service for Edna Earle Allison, of Brookhaven, formerly of Joliet, Illinois, is Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at noon at The Living Word Faith Ministry Church in Brookhaven. Arrangements are by Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Allison, 67, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018 at her residence. She was born Aug. 2, 1951, in Crystal Springs to Richard Allison and Laura Mae Brown Allison.

She was a graduate of Wendell Phillips High School in Chicago and Joliet Junior College School of Nursing in Joliet. She was retired as a registered nurse. She was a member of The Living Word Faith Ministry.

Survivors are her sons, Marvin Despenza of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Kevin Despenza of Joliet, Illinois; and sisters, Ella Allison Hayes and husband, Jerry Hayes, of Brookhaven, and Marilyn Kee of Crystal Springs.
