A memorial service for Nora R. Thompson, of Brookhaven, will be Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Crooked Creek Baptist Church with burial at Cliburn Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Mrs. Thompson, 83, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at her residence. She was born March 22, 1935, to J.B. Blackmon and Gladys C. Blackman. She worked for Packard and Delphi Automotive Systems and was a lifelong member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her sons, James B. Thompson and Perry L. Thompson, both of Brookhaven; and her daughter, Jeannie S. Sills, of Silver Creek.
