Funeral services for Luther Ealon McGee Jr., of Brookhaven, were held Monday Sept. 24, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 23, 20118, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McGee, 75, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at his residence. He was born Nov. 23, 1942, to the late Luther Ealon McGee Sr. and Ida Myrtle Davis McGee. He was retired from Entergy and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Camellia Society, American Orchid Society and various church committees and former board member of Phillips College. He enjoyed barbecuing and bee keeping.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara Ann Posey McGee; daughter, Tammy Ann McGee Buckley and husband, William; brother, Colon McGee and wife, Nell and sister, Mary Alice Craig and husband Roger; two grandchildren, Jonathan Buckley and Jeremy Buckley and wife, Christina; and one great-great-grandchild.
