Brookhaven firefighters respond to downed live power line

Brookhaven Fire reports
The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a downed, live power line at 624 Virginia Ave. at 12:58 a.m. Tuesday. Southwest Electric linemen Kevin Britt and Bruce Butler responded to the call and replaced the line.
KDMC Ambulance reports
King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 20 calls Monday. Seven were transfers, with five to Jackson, one to Pike County and one in the county. There were 13 emergencies; 10 medical, with four in the city and six in the county; one trauma in the county; and two MVCs in the city.
