Clyde Thomas Reeves Sr.

Funeral services for Clyde Thomas Reeves Sr., of Bogue Chitto, are Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Topisaw Baptist Church, with burial at the church cemetery. Rev. David Moree will officiate the services. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 10, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Reeves, 66, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at his residence. He was born May 31, 1952, to James Henry Reeves and Eula Cora Smith Reeves. He was a chief engineer with Diamond Offshore Company, working with them for 40 years and a member of Topisaw Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling but also and more importantly, hosting cookouts for his family and friends. He also served in the Shriners Organization.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Henry Reeves; grandparents, Clyde Samuel Reeves, Pearlie Reeves, Fred Smith, Lena Smith; and one granddaughter, Braylin Case.

Survivors are his wife, Rhonda Reeves; mother, Eula “Sue” Reeves; sons, Clyde T. Reeves, “TJ”, and wife, Paula, James J. Reeves, “Bubba”, and wife, Lorena; daughters, Megan Runnels and husband, Will and Morgan Daix; sister, Patricia Thomasee; eight grandchildren, Sawyer Reeves, Braden Case, Parker Daix, Tucker Malone, Wyatt Runnels, Joshua Thomas, Shyann Reeves and one on the way; nephews, Calvin Thomasee, Kevin Thomasee; nieces, Danielle Reed, Laylea and Starleigh Wallace; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
