Funeral services for Billie Freeman Allred, of Smithdale, are Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit with burial at Concord Cemetery in Franklin County. Bro. Josh Scott will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Ms. Allred, 90, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Lincoln County, to Archie and Janie Graves Freeman. She was a homemaker and a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was the type of person who put everyone ahead of herself. Her family said, “She was the most unselfish and giving person you would ever meet.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Casey Allred; two daughters, Mickie Sue Allred and Judy Allred Touchstone; and numerous siblings.

Survivors are her two sons, David Allred and Stan Allred and wife, Nina, of Smithdale; one daughter, Cindy Allred Larson and husband, Steve, of Smithdale; one son-in-law, Doug Touchstone, of McComb; sister, Georgia Mae Jordan, of Bogue Chitto; thirteen grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Kirk, Kristy, Brad, Josh, Misty, Margeux, Megan, Katie, Kim, Jeromy and Shane; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Ms. Billie’s dedicated and devoted caregivers, Faye Smith, Dawn Berry and Lonna Carwyle Rawls. Thank you also to the staff of St. Luke Hospice for their tender and loving care.

Pallbearers are Luke Wagganer, Josh Allred, Jeromy Hughes, Shane Hughes, Kirk Touchstone and Kyle Touchstone.

Honorary pallbearers are Brad Price and Kevin Touchstone.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
