Jewell Ryan Breeland and Alexis Marie Nixon, along with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Woody Breeland and Shane Nixon, announce the couple’s engagement and approaching marriage.

Lexi is the daughter of Shane Nixon, of Kiln, and the late Violet Nixon. She is the granddaughter of Keith Allnet of Bay St. Louis, the late Georgia Allnet, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nixon.

Ryan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Woody Breeland, of Brookhaven, and the grandson of Jane Breeland of Brookhaven, the late Dr. Jewell Breeland, the late Robert Smith of Lake City, Florida, and the late Margaret Sullivan of Clewiston, Florida.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Quantico High School, in Quantico, Virginia, and a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in managerial finance. She is employed in property management.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration. He is employed in food industry as a chef.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow at Mitchell’s.
