Funeral services for Gail Lavern Pierce McMorris, of Tylertown, are today Oct. 30, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Rushing Cemetery in Walthall County.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 30, 2018, from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. McMorris, 63, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. She was born June 14, 1955, to J.C. Pierce and Doris Pierce.

Preceding her in death was her husband and her love, James Harry “Jimmy” McMorris; parents, J.C. and Doris Pierce; sister, Kathy Martin; nephew, Drew Pierce and great nephew, Jett Self.

Survivors are her daughters, Cindy Courtney and husband, Rob and Tracy Payne; brothers, Jimmy Pierce and wife, Vondel and Earnie Pierce and wife, Karen; sisters, Vicky Wall and husband, Gerald and Lynn Bankston and husband, Randall; five grandchildren, Kie and Chloe Gatlin and Abigail, Ashlynn and Landon Courtney; and a host of nieces and nephews.
