Funeral services for Judy Carolyn Hutson Sturdivant, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, from noon until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sturdivant, 75, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. She was born March 13, 1943, to L.G. Hutson and Jeanette Emma Ward Hutson. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa (A∆K) teacher’s sorority. She was a teacher, principal and administrator for Natchez Public Schools and after retirement was an educational consultant for Copiah-Lincoln Community College and University of Southern Mississippi. She was also a member of First Baptist Church Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, William Russel Sturdivant; brother, Gary Hutson and wife, Renee’; nieces and nephews, Kala Smith (Jason), Erin Waltman (Tod), Kyle Hutson (Hannah), Kenny Cavin (Renee), Don Cavin, Kathy Madden, Joan David (Jerry), Ray Sturdivant (Rebecca), Chip Sturdivant, Sharon Sturdivant, James Johnson (Ellen), Mary Ann Peoples (Joe), Sabrina Collins (Billy), Dean Howard (Elaine), William Howard (Katrice), Annie Bigner (Shannon) and Chris Sturdivant (Michelle); and a host of other family members.
