Funeral services for Willie Black Jr., of Brookhaven, are Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burial at the church cemetery.  Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family hour will be Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, from 6 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Black, 75, was born June 19, 1943, to Willie Black Sr. and Gladys Marie Franklin Black.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ada Jean Redd Black; and brother, Billy Ray Black.

Survivors are his sons, John “Chris” Black, of McComb, James C. Black, of Chicago, Illinois, Charles A. Black, of Brookhaven, Willie Black III, of Brookhaven, Darrnell E. Black, of Brookhaven, Nathaniel Black, of Brookhaven, and Andre Carter, of Wesson; daughter, Kimberly Black, of Bogue Chitto; brother, Eugene Black, of Bogue Chitto; sisters, Katherine Wilson, of Bogue Chitto, Gloria Wadell, of Dryden, Michigan, and Mary Knight-Johnson, of Antelope, California; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
