Funeral services for Bobby Ray Ikerd, of Bogue Chitto, are Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church. There will be a graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at Pounds Cemetery in Washington Parish, Louisiana. Riverwood Family in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Ikerd, 62, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at his residence. He was born April 25, 1956, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to Billy Ray Ikerd and Laura Mae Wells Ikerd. He was a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ and a member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church. He served his country in the United States Army. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Billy Joe Ikerd, Kenneth Wayne Ikerd; and sister, Debra Lynn Ikerd Hoehn.

Survivors are his wife, Brenda Louise Ikerd; son, Bobby Dewayne Ikerd; daughter, Lisa Lynette Ikerd Canoy and husband, Russell; brothers, Jeffrey Ikerd, Christopher Ikerd; two grandchildren, Jacy Ikerd Branton and Samantha Canoy; three great-grandchildren, Brenna Rae Branton, Emerson Cate Branton and Rhett Allen Branton; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews; and other loving family members and friends as well as his church family.
