Funeral services for Philip M. Grice, of Bogue Chitto, are Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial at Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Bro. Jeff Davis will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Grice, 77, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at University Medical Center in Jackson with his loving family by his side. He was born Feb. 25, 1941, in McComb, to Essie Grice and Grace Lee Grice. He enjoyed watching documentaries and the History channel. He also loved spending time with his family and was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife of 32 years, Elizabeth Ann Grice; and his sister, Essie Dell Westbrook.

Survivors are his two daughters, Phyllis Berry and Janet Grice; grandchildren, Tiffany Ann Walker and husband Kurt, Tristan David Berry, Alyssa Grace Berry and Addison Sumrall and Autumn Alexis Berry; four great-grandchildren, Korbin Artair Walker, Taylor Makenzie Walker, Kody Austin Walker and Kollin Alistair Walker; and a host of family and friends.
