Funeral service for Rowdy Lee Smith, is Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery.

Infant Rowdy Lee Smith died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018. He was born Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson to Jordan Lee Smith and Laken Lee Newsom Smith.

Preceding him in death are his paternal grandfather, Craig Smith and maternal great-grandfather, Tommy Wallace; paternal great-grandmother, Peggy Smith and maternal great-grandfather, Talmage Jordan.

Survivors are his parents; aunts and uncles, Abbey Mahaffey and husband, Andy, Brittney Hill and husband, Mike, Ashley Vincent and husband, Andrew and Lacey Baker and husband, Dustin; grandparents, Rebecca Smith, Shonnon Smith, Michael Newsom and wife, Jeri Lynn; and great- grandparents, Exie Newton; W.L. Smith and Patsy Wallace, Mike Newsom and Gracie Howington.
