Funeral services for Aline “Monk” Smith Bullock, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Williams Mortuary Chapel in Brookhaven. Burial is at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018, from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family hour is 6 to 7 p.m.

Mrs. Bullock, 76, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at Countrybrook Living Center. She was born Feb. 9, 1942, to John Smith and Lula McCoy Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John L. Smith Jr. and Al Jessie Smith; sister Jessie Mae Stevens; sisters-in-law, Velma Lee Smith and Equila Smith; as well as grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Survivors are her brothers, Charlie Lee Smith, of Brookhaven; and Samuel “Mug” Smith and wife, Mary Ann, of Brookhaven; sister, Shirley Price and husband, Charles, of Brookhaven; nine nieces; nine nephews; seven great-nieces; eight great-nephews; one great-great niece; two great-great-nephews; and a host of friends, family and neighbors.
