Funeral services for Vernon Jenkins, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church in Sontag with burial at the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Dec. 28, 2018, from 1 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Family hour will be today, Dec. 28, 2018, from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jenkins, 65, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at his residence. He was born Feb. 28, 1953, in Mobile, Alabama, to Homer Jenkins and Darlene Watson Jenkins.
