Funeral services for Ruby Howard Douglas, of Wesson, are 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Clear Branch Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Riverwood Family. She will also lie in state at the church on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Mrs. Douglas, 84, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018.
She was born May 23, 1934, to Jess Howard and Myrtle Avants Howard.
She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church.
Mrs. Douglas loved to make crafts, painting with oil and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Troy Douglas; children, Keith Douglas and James Troy Douglas; and brother, Doris Howard.
She is survived by her son, Howard Gregory Douglas; daughter, Tammy Gualandi and husband, Kevin; twin sister, Joyce Reeves; 10 grandchildren, Victor Douglas, Kimberly Morgan and husband Troy, Christopher Brown and wife Lake, Rebecca Fisk and husband Calvin, Stevie Douglas, Benjamin Douglas, Joel Douglas, Chloe Douglas, Jacob Douglas and Riles Douglas; and four great-grandchildren.
