Brookhaven man arrested for simple assault

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Wednesday was as follows:
• Marcus Weathersby, 12/21/1979, 1224 Union St. — arrested for simple assault, MDOC warrant by Brookhaven Police Department.
• Danny Carl Golden, 04/19/1986, 989 Mallalieu Drive — arrested for the possession of a weapon by a convicted felon by BPD.
Note: An arrest does not constitute guilt for the accused. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
