Thank you.
Two small words coming from hearts filled with gratitude.
We can never adequately express just how much all of you mean to us. During this tragedy you have been there for us through your cards, memorial items, calls, visits, food and — most importantly — your prayers. Your love through donations to the benefit fund are more than we could have ever expected. God bless you for your generosity!
To those of you who stood on the sides of the road as the funeral procession passed, thank you for honoring our loved one in such a simple but powerful way that we will never forget.
Chief Kenneth Collins and the entire Brookhaven Police Department have been, and still are, a constant source of love and support. Thanks for allowing the boys to ride in the dad’s patrol car during the Christmas parade and throw out candy. Precious memories were made that night.
We were humbled by the show of support and presence of law enforcement officers from our city, county, state and from coast-to-coast across America. Keep these brave men and women in your prayers. They put their lives on the line every day to protect us.
Our elected officials, local and state, have been by our side during these difficult days, offering support and answers to our many questions.
The Patriot Guard Riders were an awesome sight. Our sympathy to them in the loss of one of their own and his family as he made his way to pay tribute to our loved one.
To the staff of Riverwood Family funeral service, a heartfelt thanks for a service befitting a hero. Everything was perfect. Our appreciation, also, to Easthaven Baptist Church for opening its facilities to our family for the visitation and funeral.
Please forgive us if we missed saying thanks to you. It was not our intention. We ask you to continue to pray for us, and also Zack Moak’s family, during the many difficult days ahead.
May God bless each of you is our prayer.
