The family of fallen Brookhaven Police Department Cpl. Zach Moak gathers Thursday in the Mississippi Senate for a resolution in his honor. The state House passed a similar resolution.
The family of fallen Brookhaven Police officer Cpl. Walter Zachery Marshall Moak, (31), of Bogue Chitto was presented Senate Resolution 1 and House Resolution 3 Thursday honoring his heroic actions on the day he was killed in the line of duty. A presentation to the family of officer James White will be held Tuesday. The Senate resolution was authored by District 39 Sen. Sally Doty, while the House resolution was authored by District 92 Rep. Becky Currie.
