Syble Shepherd McNair

Funeral services for Syble McNair will be today, Jan. 18, 2019, at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Chapel with burial at Linwood Cemetery. Rev. Mike Skinner is officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held today, Jan. 18, 2019, from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. McNair, 85, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019. She was born Dec. 1, 1933. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County and had lived in Wesson, for the past 11 years.  She was a member of Linwood Baptist Church and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Wesson.

Preceded in death by her husband, James A. “Jack” McNair; sister, Vivian Hardy; brothers, Roy and Dwight Shepherd.

Survivors are her daughter, Dianne (Ronny) Spencer, of Wesson; sons, Tim McNair, of Smyra, Tennessee, and Barry (Vikki) McNair, of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Justin Spencer, Julie McKee, and Austin and Chase McNair; six  great-grandchildren, Cohen ,Taylor and Macie McKee, Phillip Ross, and Avery and Anna Spencer; sisters, Neda Byars and Brenda Sims, of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
