Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to an alarm at 831 Howard Road at 1:44 p.m. Thursday. The homeowner was cooking and it triggered the alarm. No fire was reported. Firefighters also responded to an alarm at 105 Diane Drive although no fire was reported.

Copiah County reports

Wesson Police Department Thursday and Friday issued a citation for disregard for a traffic device, answered a fire alarm and served a warrant for contempt of court.

Ambulance reports

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 13 calls Thursday. Three were transfers, all to Jackson. There were 10 emergency calls; nine medical, with three in the city and three in the county; and one MVC in the city.
