Funeral services for Lisa Wanette Joseph Wilson, of Brookhaven, are today, Jan. 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church of Christ with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Jan. 22, 2019, from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Mrs. Wilson, 52, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019. She was born Feb. 11, 1966, in Natchez, to Robert “Bob” Shelton Joseph Sr. and Orilla Day Joseph. She was a respiratory therapist and was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. She loved animals, especially her dogs. She had a passion for serving pediatric patients.

Preceding her in death was her father, Bob Joseph.

Survivors are her husband, Kirk Wilson; mother, Orilla Joseph; brothers, Tommy Joseph and wife, Andrea and Robert Joseph; sister, Sue Sullivan and husband, Steve along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Berean Children’s Home, 1180 Berea Trail SE, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629, or Blair E. Batson Children’s Research Hospital, 2500 N. State Street, Jackson, MS 39216.
