Loyd Star students in the Hornets Nest Entrepreneur Club picked up trash along South Railroad Avenue and East Chickasaw Street Thursday at 10 a.m. for the inaugural “Show Your City Some Love Day.” The project, sponsored by the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, encourages individuals and groups to pick up trash every Thursday at 10 a.m. for 10 minutes.
