Monticello FD reports several calls

Fire reports

Monticello Fire Department responded to several calls Wednesday and Thursday. Firefighters responded to a home on 5852 Robinwood Road at 6:47 a.m. Wednesday after the homeowner reported smoke from a skillet left on low on the stove overnight. They also responded to a medical call at 1050 F. E. Sellers Hwy. at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday. On Thursday, firefighters responded a medical call at 1223 Rockport Avenue at 10:02 a.m., a smell of smoke at a residence at 25 Oak Hill Lane at 1:11 p.m., an MVC with no injuries at West Broad Street near Graham Avenue at 1:44 p.m. and an MVC on Railroad Avenue with no injuries at 2:26 p.m.

Brookhaven Fire Department responded to several calls Wednesday including a truck that was smoking on Hwy. 84 East at 8:22 a.m., a false alarm on Margaret Street at 10:09 a.m., a smell of gas at North Fifth Street at 12:44 p.m. and a breaker box fire at Lakeview Arms Apartments at 1:44 p.m.
