Logan and Jessica Francis announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Ally Marie Francis of Sontag, to Kasey Ryan Durr, of Oakdale.

He is the son of Joey and Anna Durr of Oakvale.

The bride-elect is granddaughter of Steve and Lissy Smith of Bogue Chitto and Jimmy and Phyllis Francis of Sontag. She is the great-granddaughter of Edwin and Elaine Smith of Bogue Chitto.

The prospective groom is grandson of Jerry and Abby Cothern of Jayess and Bobby and Betty Durr of Oakvale.

Miss Francis is a 2017 graduate of Lawrence County High School and a 2018 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s cosmetology program. She is employed as a hairstylist at Glamour and Grace Hair Salon.

Mr. Durr is a 2017 graduate of Lawrence County High School. He is employed as a welder with Local 110 Boilermaker Union in Hattiesburg.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 4 p.m. at Oakvale Baptist Church. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at The Eng Place in Columbia. Family and friends are invited to attend both the wedding and the reception.
