‘Family Day at the Arena’ is coming soon

A local church is hosting an evening of fun for the whole family.

Clear Branch Baptist Church is bringing “Family Day at the Arena” to the Lincoln Civic Center March 24. The event will last from 4 to 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to this free event.

Kid’s events and registration will begin at 4 p.m. For younger children, there will be a petting zoo, pony rides, games and an activity with a greased pig. For older children, there will be a game to remove a ribbon from a young calf’s tail.

Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and drinks will be provided by the church free of charge. There will also be door prizes to win.

A program by Riding High Ministries will begin at 6 p.m., headlined by former professional bull rider Todd Pierce. The Browns will be at the event providing musical entertainment.

“We just want the community to come out and have a great day together in a unique setting,” Pastor Wayne Moak said.

Clear Branch Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist church located in Wesson.

Todd Pierce is a part of Riding High Ministries, an organization that witnesses to people worldwide. The purpose of Riding High Ministries is to share the Gospel through teaching and ministering to others.

The Browns are a Gospel quartet composed of mom Shelly and her three children. The group has toured all over the United States for more than 15 years.
