Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Lou Rials Dunn will be on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Brookhaven Funeral Home at 894 Natchez Drive in Brookhaven, Mississippi, at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in the Mallalieu United Methodist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Dunn, 89, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, passed from this life on Monday, April 22, 2019, at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on Feb. 5, 1930, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to Jesse W. and Mattie Wilkinson Rials. She was a member of Mallalieu United Methodist Church; was a homemaker; was a member of Brookhaven Chapter 1 Order of the Eastern Star; and enjoyed crossword puzzles, growing flowers and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Charles E. Dunn Jr.; infant daughter, Jo Ann Dunn; sons-in-law, Dale Southerland and Lee Hedge; and brother, O. L. Rials.

Survivors are her children, Joyce Dunn Southerland of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ronnie Dunn (Charlene) of Brookhaven, Mississippi, and Terrelle Dunn Hedge of Brookhaven, Mississippi; grandchildren, Jesse Warren (Trisha), Don Warren, Renee Richardson (Terry), Davy Dunn (Bridget), and Kevin Southerland (Chanda); 10 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Terry Richardson, Hunter Richardson, Jesse Warren, Kevin Southerland, Davy Dunn and Les Dunn.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hospice Compassus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mrs. Dunn’s name may be made to Blair E. Baston Children’s Hospital, 2500 N State St, Jackson, MS 39216.
