County school shares a day without hate

Several motivational speakers encouraged students in fifth- through 12th-grades to put an end to bullying Friday at the first-ever “A Day Without Hate” at Loyd Star Attendance Center. Pictured are, from left: Lincoln County deputy Troy Floyd and Chief Deputy Johnny “Scooby” Hall Jr. Senior Kathryn O’Neal, a victim of past bullying, organized the program to challenge students to stand up to those who bully.
