Funeral services for Matthew Jones, of Brookhaven, will be Friday, May 24, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Mighty God M.B. Church in Brookhaven, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2019, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones, 85, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Sept. 18, 1933, in Brookhaven to Cisero Jones and Ruth McNair.
