Funeral services for the late Mrs. Annie Bell Blue Brooks of Brookhaven, Mississippi, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Willie Mae Tyler Memorial Chapel in Brookhaven, Mississippi, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.

R. E. Tyler Funeral Home in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brooks, 70, died June 11, 2019, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Visitation was held Friday, June 14, 2019, from noon to 6 pm. at the funeral home.

Annie Bell was the daughter of Seavey Blue and Josephine Washington Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husbands, Marzell Henderson and Willie Brooks; her son, Albert James “Shorty” Moore; her brothers, J. W. Washington, J.D. Blue, Arlester “Pop” Blue; and great-granddaughter, Zakaria Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Josephine Tucker; children, Jammie Moore (Liz), Darryl Blue (Tonya); daughters, Dora Banks (Johnny), Darlene Hooker (Albert); brothers, Melvin “ML” Blue and O.C. Tucker; sisters, Mayflower Frelix (AJ), Helen Griffin, Della May Roberson, Queen Hawkins (Oscar) and Mary Nell Dixon; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
