Suspect in deadly drive-by arrested 3 months after shooting
(AP) — U.S. Marshals have captured the suspect in a deadly drive-by shooting that happened three months ago in northern Mississippi.
News outlets report 23-year-old Tramayne Rashad Faulkner was arrested Tuesday.
Authorities say at least 30 rounds were fired March 24 near a home in Holly Springs, killing 27-year-old Edeldridge Balfour. A second man was shot and taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Faulkner is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder. He’s being held on a $1 million bond. Officials didn’t disclose a possible motive for the shooting.
It’s unclear whether Faulkner had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
