Ambulance service reports 31 emergency calls for weekend

Fire reports
The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm at 7:05 a.m. Friday on Middleton Street. No injuries were reported.
Highway Patrol report
Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with minor injuries at 11:34 p.m. Saturday on Hwy. 27 North near the Copiah County line.
KDMC Ambulance report
King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 51 calls Friday-Sunday. 20 were transfers, with nine to Jackson, five to McComb, one to Hattiesburg, three in the city and two in the county. There were 31 emergency calls; 21 medical, with 11 in the city and 10 in the county; four traumas, with two in the city and two in the county; six MVAs, with five in the city and one in the county.
