The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm at 6:31 p.m. Saturday on South Church Street. No injuries were reported.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 9:54 p.m. Friday on Hwy. 98 near Dollar General. They responded to an accident involving one vehicle with injuries at 5:21 p.m. Saturday on Hwy. 583 near Enterprise Attendance Center.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 48 calls Friday-Sunday. Eleven were transfers, with nine to Jackson, one in the county and one to Hattiesburg. There were 37 emergency calls; 25 medical, with 17 in the city and eight in the county; three traumas, with two in the city and one in the county; eight MVAs in the county; and one cardiac in the city.
