Funeral service for Ms. Deborah Lea Breland will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Friendship Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2019, at Riverwood Family and will resume at 10 a.m. at Friendship until time of service.

Ms. Breland, 53, of Brandon, passed away July 8, 2019, in Carthage, Mississippi. She was born June 28, 1966. She worked as a programmatic analyst at Son Valley and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Ms. Deborah was an outdoors lover, enjoying fishing, camping and being in the fresh air and sunshine. She was a wonderful cook and blessed her family by sharing this gift with them. Her family was her greatest passion. She will be missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Beason Pat Breland; grandfather, Wilbur Blair; and grandmother, Rose Mary Prewitt.

Those who remain to hold her memory close are her fiancé, Jose Moreno; mother and stepfather, Rosie and Frank Mercier; sons, Corey Breland (Joanna), Travis Morris (Nicole) and Brandon Morris (Kaisha); daughter, Rosali Sneathern (Toby); and brothers, Brian Breland (Lupita) and Troy “Scooter” Watson. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Trinity and Whisper Breland, Tucker, Daxton and Harley Sneathern, and Willow Morris; along with much loved aunts and uncles, Alice Allen (Roy), Sharon Lambert (Mack), Donna Cupit (Robert) and Toni Newell; and a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins, and other loving family members and friends.
