Services for Mrs. Bobbie Faye Coon Bowman of Brookhaven are 1 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Riverwood Family with burial at Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Riverwood. She will lie in state from noon until time of service on Thursday.

Mrs. Bobbie Faye Coon Bowman, 74, went to be with her Lord on July 15, 2019, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital. She was born on Oct. 22, 1944, to the late Thomas Jefferson Coon and Ada Pearl Douglas Coon.

Anyone that knew Ms. Bobbie, knew what a selfless loving person that she was. She loved Mr. Frank, she loved her family, she loved her tomato garden and most of all, she loved life!

She loved waking up early to the smell of coffee, to hear the birds and to watch the sunrise. She never missed a game or school event for her grandchildren, even though she lived an hour away. She worked tirelessly for 38 years as a bookkeeper at Brook Manor (Diversicare) Nursing Home in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Herman Bowman Jr.; and brothers, Jerry Coon and Lamar Coon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Frank Nobles; son, Eric Hammarstrom and wife, Holly; daughter, Teresa Middleton and husband, Todd; brother, Mark Coon and wife, Cindy and sister, Peggy Roberts and husband, Billy.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Parker Middleton, Lauren McDaniel, Taylor Middleton, Hayden Middleton, Kyra Holmes and Daniel Holmes.
