On Saturday, the eighth annual Trapping For Trent Memorial Trap Shoot was held at the home of Larry Killingsworth. The event raises money in memory of Trent Killingsworth, a Brookhaven native who died Jan. 28, 2004. Monies raised at the event go toward an endowed scholarship in Killingsworth’s memory at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Last year, a $2,000 scholarship was awarded to Jarrod Mathis of West Lincoln. Posing with the winners are event organizers Kacey Falvey, Logan Killingsworth and Larry Killingsworth.

Men’s Division winners included Greyson Campbell (third), Cayce Falvey (second) and Harrison Hux (first). Hux is a repeat winner in the men’s division.

Shooter’s Division winners included Joey Norton (third Place), David Easley (second Place) and Randolph Falvey (first).
