Bob and Renee Naeger of Brookhaven announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Samantha Naeger, to John Young, of Ben Wheeler, Texas.

He is the son of Carlton and Rita Young.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of homeschooling. She is employed at Buds and Blooms Nursery and is a piano teacher.

The prospective groom is a 2011 graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Illinois. He is a student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019.
