Fighting Irish shut out Yellow Jackets
The St. Patrick Fighting Irish (4-1) from Biloxi took advantage of a short-handed Enterprise team Friday night on Harry Cole Field. The visitors from the coast won 32-0 as EAC started the game with only 14 healthy players.
Senior running back Dylan Vaughn moved to quarterback for coach Trey Woodard and the Yellow Jackets (1-4). Vaughn ran for 77 yards on the night as the Jackets gained 125 yards as a team.
Jordan Stephens led the EAC defense with nine tackles. Brody Harris and Chase White made seven stops apiece for the Enterprise defense.
St. Pat led 20-0 at halftime. Next week the Jackets close out the non-region portion of their schedule with a home game against Clarkdale on Harry Cole Field.
