The Brookhaven Academy Lady Cougars wrap up their regular season Thursday night with a huge matchup against Cathedral in Natchez.

BA lost to Cathedral 3-1 in a close match on Sept. 3. The Lady Cougars (12-4-1) have already locked up a playoff appearance for the second straight season. To win the district and host a playoff match, they’ll need to beat CHS by more than two goals Thursday night at 6 p.m.

The playoffs begin Oct. 1. In their last time out, BA avenged an earlier season loss to the Hattiesburg Forerunners by beating them 2-1 in Brookhaven. Mark LeBlanc serves as head coach for the team and he’s assisted by Clint Rounsaville.
