The Lady Cougars finished as runners-up in their district after a 5-2 loss last week at Cathedral. BA opens the playoffs with matchup Tuesday night at Hartfield Academy. It’s the second straight season for coach Mark LeBlanc and his team to earn a playoff berth.
“They’ll be the best team we’ve faced in a few years,” said LeBlanc. “They didn’t give up a goal in district play and their average margin of victory is seven goals.”
Last season Hartfield lost in the state championship match to Pillow Academy. BA and Hartfield kick off at 6 p.m. Tuesday night on the HA campus located off Lakeland Drive.
