A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Carol June Bozant Williams at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019, at First United Methodist Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Friends may visit with the family from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.

Mrs. Carol Williams, 82, of Brookhaven, passed from this life Sept. 14, 2019. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi, May 10, 1937, to her parents, George and Ethel Bozant. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, with the honor of being valedictorian, and afterward, graduated from Droan’s Business College. She was employed as an administrative secretary for McLane Southern Grocery.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Ted Williams, and brother, Jerry Bozant.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas “Lamar” Williams; sons, Tom Williams (Raquel) and Tim Williams (Becky); daughter, Virginia Williams Earley (Bill); sister, Beverly Snell, and sister-in-law, Peggy Bozant. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Rebecca Renegar, Buddy Earley, David Earley, Monica Earley, Brandon Williams, Kristen Williams, Michael Williams, Blake Williams, Gracie Williams, Daniel Bowers, Natalia Monzon and Brandon Chern; nine great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
