The Lawrence County Lady Cougars have won 12-games in a row ahead of their Saturday playoff series opener.

On Monday, the Lady Cougars pounded Florence 13-1 on the road before getting a 3-1 win over Northwest Rankin in Monticello Tuesday night.

NWR was the last team to beat LC. In that game on Sept. 3, Lawrence County was outscored 11-10 by Northwest Rankin in Flowood.

Tuesday night, coach Marc Howard saw his team get RBIs from Jordyn Bridges, Molly Davis and Anne Claire Sistrunk to power them to the win.

Saturday in Monticello the three-game-playoff series will see the Lady Cougars hosting D’Iberville. Game one begins at 11 a.m.
