Funeral services for Rose Mary Byrd, of Wesson, Mississippi, are Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Old St. John Missionary Baptist Church, in Wesson, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the church, and will resume Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Byrd, 77, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, in Mesquite, Texas. She was born Nov. 26, 1941, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to Bud and Ida Mae Flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmie Lee Byrd; daughter, Theresa Nell Flowers; and two sons, Michael and Travis Byrd.

She is survived by four sons, Tracy Lee Byrd, Jimmie David Byrd, Gregory D. Byrd and Johnnie Ray Byrd; three daughters, Patricia Ann Killingsworth, Audrey Elise Jones and Stephanie S. Howard; two sisters; one brother; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
