The funeral service for Mr. Martin Lynn “Marty” Britt will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at Riverwood Family, with interment at Riverwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at Riverwood.

Mr. Britt, 63, of Edwards, Mississippi, passed from this life Oct. 23, 2019, at his residence. He was born May 3, 1956, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to his parents, Troy and Pauline Britt. Mr. Britt was retired from working in the oil refinery industry as a supervisor. He enjoyed wood working and caring for his lawn. His greatest enjoyment was loving his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Clyde Allred and brother-in-law, David Allred.

Those he leaves to cherish his memory are, his wife, Shelley Britt; son, Daniel Britt and wife, Misty; daughter, Rachel Perry and husband, James; mother-in-law, Frances Allred; brothers, Dennis Britt and wife, Alice, and Robert Britt and wife, Tracy; and nine grandchildren, McKenzie White, Renee Perry, Dylan Britt, Maddison Britt, Lorna Perry, Parker Britt, Payton Britt, Julia Perry and James Perry, Jr. He was also expecting to meet his first great-grandchild in the near future.
